Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

We, at Amin Antulay Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "AAF"), are sincerely grateful for the continued generosity and support of our donors. Your contributions help us sustain our programs and make a meaningful change in the communities we serve. As a non-profit organisation, we maintain transparency in our operations, including in how we handle donations and refunds.

Donations are Considered Non-Refundable

All donations made to AAF are generally considered final, non-cancellable and non-refundable. Upon receipt, these funds are forthwith deployed towards our primary goal — supporting our programs that, in turn, support families — particularly their women, from low-income and marginalized backgrounds in the communities we work in, to become financially resilient.

Exceptional Circumstances That Warrant Refunds

AAF expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. However, AAF also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously. Therefore, AAF has instituted a donation refund policy applicable in the limited circumstances specified below, to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations:

1. A duplicate donation was made by mistake;
2. The donation amount was entered incorrectly;
3. The donor's account was compromised or used fraudulently.

AAF shall examine requests for refund of donations and shall endeavour to make the refund on a case-by-case basis. AAF may also seek proper explanation and reasons from the donor for such refund. It is further clarified that such refund may require further verification from the donor and AAF may require documents of proof of the claim made in clause (a), (b) or (c) above and of the donation made by the donor.

It is made unequivocally clear that AAF is not obliged to make refunds and may, at its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has already been issued.

How to Request a Refund

If you would like your donation to be refunded, you must request AAF in writing or by email at the following address:

Your refund request must contain the following details:

1. Date of donation;
2. Amount of donation;
3. Mode of donation i.e. credit card or online payment, and should reach the AAF office within 7 (seven) days from the date on which you made the donation i.e.: the date on which you made the donation online, electronically or through other means, OR the date on which you handed over the cheque/demand draft to AAF or someone authorised by AAF for this purpose, OR the date on which you despatched the cheque/ demand draft to AAF by other means.

The refund process may take 15–30 working days depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as the payment gateway, banks, etc. through which the transaction is done.
